Safer Together- Erasmus+ Project

The “Safer Together” project seeks to develop a competence workshop program (at least 24 hours) along with its validation. This program aims to expand or provide missing competences to individuals who wish to offer social/environmental support to terminally ill people or to support the families of such individuals.

Objectives:

• To develop a training module focused on care competences for the care of terminally ill people and end-of-life situations, in collaboration with partners.
• To establish cooperation with entities in the education, prevention, and health care sectors within the EU to exchange experiences and foster project partnerships aimed at developing necessary societal solutions.
• To contribute to improving the quality of vocational education not only in Poland but also throughout the EU.
• To improve the quality of life for people in crisis, specifically those experiencing the loss of life.

Expected results:

• A methodological plan, including an outline, scenario, and validation.
• Enhanced competences of individuals preparing care staff for education based on the real needs of patients and their loved ones.
• Increased professional competences of those working with terminally ill people and their loved ones.
• Strengthened cooperation between organizations and institutions involved in the care of terminally ill people, which would be challenging to achieve without this project.
• Organizational development through the acquisition and exchange of experience.
