The “Safer Together” project seeks to develop a competence workshop program (at least 24 hours) along with its validation. This program aims to expand or provide missing competences to individuals who wish to offer social/environmental support to terminally ill people or to support the families of such individuals.
Coordinator: Fundacja Forum Edukacji
Objectives:
To develop a training module focused on care competences for the care of terminally ill people and end-of-life situations, in collaboration with partners.
To establish cooperation with entities in the education, prevention, and health care sectors within the EU to exchange experiences and foster project partnerships aimed at developing necessary societal solutions.
To contribute to improving the quality of vocational education not only in Poland but also throughout the EU.
To improve the quality of life for people in crisis, specifically those experiencing the loss of life.
Expected results:
A methodological plan, including an outline, scenario, and validation.
Enhanced competences of individuals preparing care staff for education based on the real needs of patients and their loved ones.
Increased professional competences of those working with terminally ill people and their loved ones.
Strengthened cooperation between organizations and institutions involved in the care of terminally ill people, which would be challenging to achieve without this project.
Organizational development through the acquisition and exchange of experience.
