EU-CERT Kick-Off Meeting in Cologne: A Successful Start

The EU-CERT project kicked off with a dynamic meeting held in Cologne on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022. Partners from across Europe gathered to lay the foundation for this ambitious endeavor aimed at enhancing quality in adult education.

The meeting began with a warm welcome from Ingenious Knowledge and University of Paderborn(UPB), setting the tone for collaboration and teamwork. Partners had the opportunity to introduce their institutions and get to know each other better through engaging presentations.

Key discussions revolved around the introduction of the EU-CERT project, led by UPB. The rationale, purpose, and core aims of the project were outlined, along with the roles of each partner as per the proposal. Additionally, insights into project results and linkages were shared, laying the groundwork for future activities.

Throughout the day, partners delved into various project areas, including research on quality criteria, accreditation processes, and certification structures. Insights were provided into the project’s concept design, website development, accreditation handbook, and roll-out plans to adult education providers.

Administrative and financial aspects were also addressed, ensuring clear project management structures and documentation requirements. Discussions on dissemination and exploitation strategies highlighted the importance of communication and outreach efforts to maximize project impact.

The meeting concluded with an evaluation of the day’s proceedings and a discussion on next steps. Partners left the meeting energized and motivated, ready to embark on this collaborative journey towards enhancing quality assurance in adult education.

As the EU-CERT project progresses, the Cologne kick-off meeting stands as a testament to the commitment and dedication of all partners to make a positive difference in adult education across Europe.
