Whether you’re starting your first business, expanding your network, or supporting others in their entrepreneurial endeavors, this handbook provides a roadmap for success.
To complement the handbook, we’ve also launched the Business Pride Platform at www.businesspride.eu. This interactive digital hub is designed to provide LGBTQIA+ youth with the tools they need to thrive in business and beyond.
The platform also features community forum and curated resources to help LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs connect, share experiences, and support one another.
For LGBTQIA+ youth, the path to entrepreneurship often comes with unique challenges. From discrimination and limited access to funding to a lack of visible role models, these barriers can feel daunting. The Business Pride Handbook and Platform are designed to break down these barriers, offering guidance, support, and inspiration.
These tools were created with input from young entrepreneurs, allies, and youth workers across Europe to ensure they meet real needs and provide meaningful value.
As the Business Pride Project reaches its conclusion, we’re proud to share the highlights from our journey and the impactful resources we’ve created together. The final evaluation meeting in August marked a moment of reflection, celebration, and inspiration as partners came together to review our progress, achievements, and the meaningful feedback received during the piloting phase.
The Business Pride project, aimed at empowering and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth entrepreneurs, officially commenced with a meeting held from July 13–15, 2023, in Nuremberg, Germany. Hosted by Highlights e.V., the project coordinator, the meeting brought together representatives from partner organizations, including three members from TIR Consulting Group & FFE Poland, to collaboratively plan and set the groundwork for the initiative’s success.
