A Training Experience for Youth Workers and Volunteers
Are you a youth worker, educator, or volunteer passionate about creativity, resilience, and mental well-being? The EmpowerCanvas Project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is inviting youth professionals to take part in a one-day interactive training workshop designed to empower both facilitators and young people through art-based and mindful learning tools.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking to engage motivated youth workers and volunteers who:
Work directly with young people in NGOs, schools, or community settings
Are open to integrating art, creativity, and mindfulness into their practice
Have an interest in innovative educational methods and non-formal learning tools
Are eager to test and provide feedback on the EmpowerCanvas Toolkit
Each partner country — Portugal (Coordinator), Croatia, and Germany — will host a local training session for around 15 participants, guided by 2–3 experienced facilitators.
Suggested Training Agenda – EmpowerCanvas Workshop
Duration: 1 full day (6–7 hours) Participants: 15 youth workers/volunteers per partner Trainers: 2–3 facilitators from partner organisations Tools:Resilience Board Game, ARTMIND platform, projector, flipcharts, markers, sticky notes, evaluation forms
