Join Us: Recruitment Now Open for Caregiver Training Programme!

We are excited to announce that recruitment is now open for participants in our Safer Together Caregiver Training Programme!

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of terminally ill individuals—and want to build professional skills while strengthening your emotional resilience—this opportunity is for you.

About the Programme

This training is based on the Safer Together Methodological Guide, developed with the support of the European Union. The programme will equip participants with essential caregiving skills and techniques for:

  • Communicating empathetically with patients and their families

  • Managing emotional stress and preventing burnout

  • Handling ethical challenges and supporting dignity at the end of life

  • Building mental resilience and self-awareness as a caregiver

The course will cover 24 hours of intensive, interactive learning, including practical workshops, role plays, and expert-led discussions.

Be Part of Something Important

The training is not only a chance to gain new competencies, but also to validate the programme, meaning your feedback and participation will help refine and finalize the course before it is rolled out on a wider scale.

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for:

  • Aspiring caregivers

  • Health and social care professionals

  • Volunteers working with terminally ill individuals

  • Anyone interested in developing professional caregiving and emotional support skills

No prior experience in palliative care is required—just commitment, empathy, and a willingness to learn.
