Safer Together: Final Project Meeting Held in Warsaw

This January, we were proud to host the final meeting of the Safer Together project in Warsaw, bringing together all our dedicated partners from Poland, Croatia, and Italy.

After months of collaborative work, research, and development, this meeting marked an important milestone in our shared mission to create a high-quality training programme for caregivers of the terminally ill.

A Moment to Celebrate and Reflect

The Warsaw meeting was both a celebration of what we have achieved and a critical working session to finalize all project outcomes. Together, the partners:

  • Reviewed the final version of the Safer Together Methodological Guide

  • Discussed the piloting and validation plan for the 24-hour training programme

  • Shared experiences, feedback, and insights from national activities

  • Planned future dissemination to ensure the guide and training reach as many trainers and caregivers as possible

It was inspiring to see how each partner’s unique contribution—from practical caregiving knowledge to psychological expertise and project management—came together into a comprehensive and meaningful resource.

A Shared Vision for the Future

Although the project is reaching its formal conclusion, the work of Safer Together will continue. The guide and training programme are tools designed to have a lasting impact, helping to build a new generation of caregivers who are professionally prepared, emotionally resilient, and deeply compassionate.

We are proud of what we have created together and excited to see the training validated and implemented across Europe and beyond.

Thank You

We extend our deepest thanks to all partners, trainers, caregivers, and supporters who contributed to the Safer Together project. Your energy, expertise, and commitment have made this achievement possible.

Together, we are making caregiving safer, stronger, and more human.
