YOUTH BUILD Project Hosts First Webinar – Building Resilience in Youth Work
The first webinar of the YOUTH BUILD project took place on 30 July 2025, bringing together more than 20 trainers, youth workers, educators and a few youth learners from different European countries. The online session focused on understanding resilience, exploring practical tools and discussing the challenges young people face today.
Webinar Objectives
The session was built around four main goals:
Understanding resilience and why it is essential for vulnerable youth
Introducing the YOUTH BUILD project and its resilience-building tools
Sharing practical stress-relief techniques for daily youth work
Reflecting on current challenges experienced by young people across Europe
Challenges Youth Are Facing Across Europe
In the final part of the webinar, trainers and learners discussed common difficulties affecting young people today:

| Mental health pressure | Anxiety, burnout, constant stress |
| Social isolation | Loneliness, difficulty building trust, lack of peer connection |
| Educational and work pressure | Fear of failure, competition, uncertainty about the future |
| Discrimination and exclusion | Based on disability, migration status, gender identity, poverty |
| Influence of social media | Comparison, low self-esteem, cyberbullying |
